Chioma Udechukwu

Chioma brings over 15 years of experience working in private practice and as an in-house counsel to clients. She brings her exuberant passion for life into the discharge of her duties and firmly believes in delivering results timeously. She is a brilliant strategist and an ardent negotiator. She is adept at surpassing clients’ expectations. Chioma has worked on a number of corporate transactions related to project finance, capital market and acquisitions. As a chartered secretary, Chioma has coordinated board, unitholders and shareholders meetings and advised on corporate governance and regulatory compliance for several companies. Having worked as an in-house counsel, she approaches legal issues with clients’ business needs in mind.

Chioma is a seasoned dispute resolution Attorney. She has represented clients in mediation, arbitration and civil litigation proceedings related to labor, debt recovery, breach of contract, aviation, landlord-tenant and domestic disputes. She has represented clients before administrative and regulatory tribunals and various courts. Her resolute commitment to the best interest of her clients in transactions and in the course of litigation, mediation and negotiation of settlements, and the attendant success is an attribute for which she is often commended. Chioma is passionate about helping her clients solve their problems in a way that minimizes risks and saves cost.

Chioma is a licensed member of the Law Society of Upper Canada (Ontario). She is also licensed to practice law in New York and Nigeria. She draws on her extensive experience to find innovative solutions to the most challenging problems, wherever and whenever they occur.
